TLG Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan Launch

Thank you to our incredible community of sponsors, volunteers, ambassadors, staff, board, alumni, schools, and partners for your ongoing support of everything we do at TLG. Thank you to everyone who joined us to launch TLG’s Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan.

Together we heard from First Nations voices, educators and community leaders about the role of education in advancing reconciliation and truth-telling in Australia. We also unveiled our RAP artwork Kaartdijin Bidi by Talicia Griffin, a proud Ballardong Mineng Noongar yok and long-time member of the TLG community.

Below are some photos from the evening, captured by Jake Stone.

About the Artist - Talicia Griffin

Talicia Griffin is a proud Ballardong Mineng Noongar yok (girl) from Kondinin.

As a primary school student, Talicia regularly received tutoring from visiting TLG tutors, which she credits for improving her confidence in maths. When she started at university, Talica joined TLG as a volunteer, inspired by her own first-hand experience of TLG’s impact and motivated by the desire to help other young people find a passion for learning.

Talicia has chosen to donate all royalties from the sale of this merchandise to support TLG’s tutoring and mentoring programs, particularly in her hometown of Kondinin.
